This episode is the second in a three-part string exploring some simple animation in Flash CS3. Following on from before (where we created a symbol and animated it in the timeline) we build a truck and wheels that move on their own timeline, giving us a cyclic animation.
There are always so many people wanting to learn Flash – I remember thinking years ago that demand would probably “fizzle out” and I couldn’t have been more wrong – I train Flash more and more every month (it’s almost all I’m doing at the moment with very few exceptions).
So for the next few episodes, I’m going to be mainly concentrating on the basics of animation in Flash CS3, starting with this simple ‘bouncing ball’ exercise using a straightforward motion tween. If you’re a total newbie to Flash, please download this PDF which will give you some helpful information to get you started.
