Learn best practices—Visually design with CSS best practices aided by jargon-free explanations of practical concepts and create Ajax-driven interactivity while supporting best practices.
Take control of your content—Design your pages in Dreamweaver so your clients can make updates to their web pages directly from the browser using the Adobe InContext Editing online service - add dynamic data to your site without a database or complex coding.
What Will I Learn?
You'll get a grounding in HTML with some hand-coding before moving into Dreamweaver and you'll build two small sites which will include static and animated images, rollover behaviours, Flash animated content and Flash video. During the course you will also get to work in Photoshop, so some knowledge of this product (or similar) is a desirable but not essential.
The intro course is designed to run over three days but can be run accelerated over two days for 1-2 delegates. One set of reference material is provided for the course although it is possible for each delegate to have their own copy (charged extra - please contact me for details).
A one-day intermediate course is also available which takes the sites from the intro course and adds dynamic features including Data Sets and InContext Editing.
